Affordable Active Independent Living

This beautiful north central Arkansas location in Horseshoe Bend, the “Gateway to the Ozarks”, is well known as a vacation, retirement, and recreational area.
Planned and intended as a community providing housing for persons 55 and older, Pioneer Village Foundation operates under the guidelines of the U.S. Fair Housing Act.

A Hidden Gem in the Ozarks

Pioneer Village consists of 64 individually owned homes.
Tax Incentives: low property taxes, Homestead tax exemption, and Property Taxes are frozen at age 65.  
Owners must become members and follow the by-laws of the
Pioneer Village Foundation, which is managed by a 7 member

Board of Directors.
The current monthly fee of $90.00 provides maintenance and upkeep of 
all common areas and buildings, as well as mowing, trimming of bushes and leaf removal of all residents lawns.
The handicap accessible clubhouse is used for scheduled activities and by members for private events.

Pioneer Village Amenities

The clubhouse contains a spacious dining room, a kitchen, activity rooms,
an office and 4 restrooms.
Also on site are an outdoor swimming pool and shuffle board court, a pavilion area with 2 community grills.
All these amenities are for use by members and their guests in this pet friendly community.
Pioneer Village is close to the center of Horseshoe Bend, where churches, shopping,
banking and many other amenities are available.

Community Services

The l8-hole Golf Course at Turkey Mountain, public library, walking trail,
horseshoe pits, a tennis court, and the municipal airport are within one mile.
Home-owners may keep their golf carts at home.
Lakes and rivers for fishing and recreation, a marina, resort areas and many social clubs and organizations are also available in the Horseshoe Bend community.

Having friendly neighbors is an important part of leading a pleasant life, which is why at Pioneer Village Foundation, we’re constantly coming up with new and exciting events for everyone to enjoy. Monthly Potlucks

The accessible clubhouse contains 2 dining rooms, a kitchen, pool table and exercise room, meeting and activity rooms, an office and 4 restrooms and is used for scheduled activities and member’s private parties.
